齋藤浩之君は、彼のAUAPでのゴールへと快調に近づいている。
Hiroyuki Saito is well on his way to reaching his AUAP goals.

それは、アメリカ人と毎日話すことである。
That is, talking with Americans everyday.

浩之君は彼のルームメイト（浩之君は彼をとても良い英語の先生だと言っています。）と話したり、アメリカ人の友達と学食でランチをとりながら会話を楽しんだり、そして　日米会話クラブの参加者として積極的に活動している。
Hiroyuki talks with his roommate (Hiroyuki says that his roommate is a very good English teacher), during lunch he has fun conversations with his American friends, and actively participates in the activities at Nichibei Club.

日米クラブはAUAP生がアメリカ人と交流する機会を提供する新しいクラブです。
Nichibei club is a new club that offers an opportunity to bring together AUAP students and Americans.

日米クラブは フレンドシップ･ハウスと オールド・ビクトリアン・ハウスというキャンパスから数ブロックはなれた場所で集まっています。
Nichibei Club is held a few blocks away from campus at the old Victorian house also known as the Friendship House.

学生は一時間の予約をお互いにし、一対一の会話を楽しみます。
Students can sign up for 1 hour of fun one-on-one conversation.

ゲームや会話を楽しむのに、到底一時間では足りません。
The games and conversation are fun, but 1 hour is barely enough time.

先週は日米クラブで彼の家族や地元、浩之君は高校での思い出を話しました。
Last week at Nichibei Club Hiroyuki talk about his hometown, family and his high school memories.

参加者のうちの一人が日本料理とケーキを持って来ました。
One of the Nichibei members brought Japanese food and cake.

彼はとてもケーキに満足していましたが、それもそのはず、来週チョコレートケーキをこの参加者と作る約束をしているのです。
He absolutely loved the cake and what's more, next week arrangments have been made to make chocolate cake together.

日米クラブのことを話すと、浩之君は興奮して「日米クラブが大好きだ」といいます。
"I love Nichibei Club," he says with great excitement when talking about Nichibei Club.

日米クラブの参加者の優しさ、寮から近いということ、そして何よりも英語を出来るだけ学びたいという彼の気持ちが日米クラブに通い続ける理由です。
He feels that the kindness of the members of Nichibei Club, the closeness to the dormitory, and most of all the desire to learn as much English as possible are good reasons for going to Nichibei Club.

もちろんAUAP生としてもウエスタン・ワシントン大学で留学生活を満喫しています。
Of course as a Western University AUAP student he is enjoying his overseas experience.

彼はアメリカ人と話すこと英語を練習する方法をよく知っている、その知識を駆使し、日々楽しく英語を学んでいます。
He knows that the best way to practice English is to speak with Americans. With that in mind, he is having fun learning English everyday.
